what we do

Matrics submits its child and teen actors for a wide-range of featured extra and lead roles for Australian and overseas TV and Feature Film productions. Theatre experienced actors are regularly submitted for vocal and acting roles in productions staged by Opera Australia; acting roles in many of Sydney’s independent, fringe and major theatre companies. Many ‘triple threat” talent are submitted for roles in professional Musical Theatre productions

about the director

Victoria Jackson has a Bachelor Arts degree with a Double Major in Theatre Arts and Journalism with Distinction from Curtin University (Western Australia,1997). As a third-year student, she won an AFI Screen Producers Award for her documentary ‘Dying is Easy…Comedy is Hard, featuring a collection of Australia’s top stand-up and broadcast comedians Andrew Denton, Julia Morris, Kitty Flanagan, Tim Ferguson and Greg Fleet and sold the documentary to the Foxtel Network.

Victoria has over 25 years’ experience in senior roles in sales, marketing, advertising and public relations in the media, government and corporate sectors, as well as on-air TV presenting and production. Her recent Executive Producer credits include the short film: ‘Don’t Go Down There!’ (Meraki Productions: 2022), theatre production ‘Gaslight’ (New Theatricals: 2024) and Indigenous horror feature film ‘It Will Find You!’ (Meraki Films: 2025).

Victoria is working con-currently as an Executive Producer and Producer with Writer/Producer/Director Chris Broadbent (Meraki Films) on two of his crime thriller feature films ‘Clifton Beach’ and ‘The Vale’. Both set for release in late 2026.

Victoria is also working as an Executive Producer with Writer/Producer Suzan Mutesi on her TV Drama Series ’Unapologetically Black’.

Victoria is the Managing Director of talent agencies Matrics Management (specialising in children and teen actors) and Phoenix Talent (adult actors and specialising in emerging writers/producers/directors). She is passionate about storytelling and dedicating her time to developing emerging actors and budding writers/producers and filmmakers.
